Nice shot Duder. It looks like a forest fire might have gone through there some time ago.

Kent County, New Brunswick, CANADA
has to be one of the world's best kept secret. It is bordered by the sea to the east and is made up of small villages, farms, forest, brooks and rivers. I have lived here all my life and
would recommend it to anyone.

yeah, it probably was. there was some incredible views of the side of a mountain that was completely decimated and covered with snow, but I wasn't able to stop and get any good photos because there was no decent stopping points. The photo I posted was actually taken out the car window.

Very nice photo. I'm always sad when wildfires damage areas like Yosemite and Yellowstone. While it is a very natural occurrence (sometimes), the beauty of the place is diminished for many years.

Bleak mid-winter. Definitely describes things around here, especially if you're stuck inside.

Nice shot.

That photo was taken from somewhere along the 140 highway on the way out of Yosemite. It was around the 2nd or 3rd of January. There was a lot of snow at that time, but apparently it's melting now. I plan on going back myself in a couple of weeks.

Thanks for all the other comments.

Here's another one from the same trip:
