The Blog "Lovely Listing" (LINK HERE (external link)) is a humorous collection of very bad photos used in real estate listings. I visit the site nearly every day. I've also contributed a listing or two to the site.

In my hunt for bad listings, I came across this one:
http://www.estately.com …2#listings/photos/1609432 (external link)
There's nothing wrong with the photos there. What strikes me is the quality of the photographs. Whoever did this gallery knows something about High Dynamic Range photography.

Agree? Disagree?

I fixed the link in the original post.

I agree. Those are much better than most! I even see a spinning ceiling fan, which points to a tripod being used and some slow shutter speed as well as combining of exposures. When we sold our house 6 months ago I took the photos, using some wireless flashes. I didn't have the effect they got in that gallery, but they were better than the typical P&S crap every else had around here.

I agree too, excellent photography. Just try to convince a real estate agency to pay for it. When I bought my house the listing said "Park-like setting". The picture looked like the park was in the former Soviet Union.

One of the homes we where looking for said " River Access" and when looking at the picture it looked like a 100 foot lot in the back yard backing on to a river.. drove 2 hours to see the house and the river was about 15 feet from the back door! infact most of the back yard was a 1 foot deep river.

I showcased the interior of a camping trailer. I used a 17mm lens on my 5D to do it. It looked downright cavernous.
