nice car...but I don't really see the "HDR-ness" of it.

Looks like a normal shot with one of those overly-saturating wedding actions applied to it.

I'd also find a much better backdrop, this kind of car doesn't scream "suburbia" to me.

I agree with nw, the background just doesn't work. I think it's actually a bit distracting and takes away from the car.

There's also a blurry guy in the background....possibly mowing his lawn or wondering what you're doing taking pictures in the general direction of his house....yeah....he's distracting too.

The red does, most certainly. When I first viewed the picture, my eyes went first to the over-saturated red sunlight, not the car.

I didn't notice the mailbox, but it looks like someone photographing you photographing a car.

It looks too dark to me.

And the "photomatix" stamp in three places really makes it hard to concentrate on the photo.

It's the houses in the background that make it too busy. If you could find a park that had trees and leaves I think that would make a nice backgound.

I'd be curious to see what one of your single exposed shots looks like without the HDR treatment. I suspect that it probably doesn't have the range that would require HDR at all...I could be wrong. pretty good job not going overboard though.

otherwise, what they ^^^ said...

It has some of the HDR "effects" but is rendered much too dark.
It probably should be dark in order to be true to the actual scene.

I think it would be enlightening for the viewers to have an explanation from the OP as to what he thought he was doing with this scene and what he thought he was accomplishing. That might be quite revealing.
