Silhouettes and Fall Leaves

First shot taken with the 18-55mm XT Kit lens, the rest with the Canon 50mm f/1.4.

I like the first picture with the bluish background. But for an added focal point, place a couple lit up carved pumpkins in front of the trees for a halloween theme.

I really like the first two. Care to share what you did in PP?

The Post Processing the in the first one was just a contrast bump and change in the tone (it was more of a deep purple instead of blue). It was the area in the sky opposite of the sun, so there was some cool colors.

The second one was also a bump in contrast, sharpening and using the White Balance to warm the tone a bit.

I've found that a good bump in contrast in all my pictures will give it a great solid feeling to the photos. I used Canon's DPP btw, processed RAW files.

Nice work. The sky in #1 is striking.

A nice series of shots. I like #2, some very pleasing background colours there!
