Click the link at the top of the page referring to the POTN support shop and take a look at the straps there. I have one for each of my bodies.

Here's the specific strap I have: http://www.procameragear.com …/cPath/30/products_id/141 (external link)

i have a matin brand neckstrap with canon printed on it.

I got it for about $10 off ebay, including delivery, and couldn't be happier with it...wider surface area, plus well cushioned and soft.

none of the chafing and cutting into my neck as with the straps that are bundled with the camera...

I have a few of these. I extend them to the max length and sling it around my shoulder. I agree that hanging around the neck is a pain.

I have more neck straps than I will admit to. I typically carry two bodies with me--- and for weddings it means long hours -- I typically have at last one 1DMarkII with a 70-200 2.8 IS and that puppy is a heavy combo to carry.
My fav strap for that combo is my Smugmug-- neoprene strap--- and heck it was even FREE. My second fav is my optech strap=- but I like the thinner one or the thicker one with my handy dandy trim job.

Optech Super Classic -- not so bulky as the Pro, which is the choice of professional photographers and people who use large cameras with long heavy lenses

+1 for supporting the site. Just got my POTN strap today and it's just as comfy as everyone says.
