nice BW conversion, I would get rid of the sign, seems to take away from the "isolated" feel of this photo.

I like it. But I think the car is the weak spot. The image seems to me to be rather forbidding. And the car fights it.

wow, i'm really liking this one! it has this "terminator / sarah connor driving into a storm" feel. I like the car placement too. well done. :D

I looked at your title line and thought to myself that there are no really good B & W landscapes with high contrast.

Then I looked at it...

It's great, and it reminds me of the strength of Moonrise over Hernandez.

Your composition is great, and the exposure it right on. I wouldn't touch a thing - print and hang!

I'd prefer if the car was a little closer, to make a larger focal point.

Removing the car would make this landscape shot dull IMO..
Definetly keep the car.
The grain and contrast just works!
