Very nice Geno.

I'm in the "leave the car, lose the sign" camp.

Removing the sign simplifies the composition, and increases the impact of the car on a desolate highway.

Edit: The flickr crowd likes it as is, so maybe I'm missing something ;)

Thanks Chris. Flickr folk haven't seen the signless version. Luckily, nobody saw the originial until after PP - it really is lifeless.

Here's what I was thinking: The sign lands right on the third line so it kind of works there. I really have a tough time with stuff like this and it appears consensus is not always easily obtained. Hence my indecision.

Lifeless? I wouldn't agree with that... The original image is pretty damn amazing in itself. The BW just blows my mind though :)

IMO, the sign disrupts the continuity of the fog.... and to me, the fog is one of the best parts to this picture... I wouldn't want anything in its way...

Just my opinion... :)
