Walking around after work, i spoted this branch with a feather clung to it.
Normaly I'd try and stay away from this cliche sort of shot....but I liked the idea of the feather from a bird that may have departed being the last thing on this branch rather than a leaf.

Definately not cliche to me. The lighting is great. Really great shot. Maybe a little too dark in the bottom right, where the branch continues there is a slightly distracting orange bit, that I found myself concentrating on.

I like it also. Awesome use of light on the feather.

thanks all..
Lighting was definatley a fluke factor..the sun was just setting, and the branch and feather were just in the right position to be highlighted by the orange hues.
