Nice. I like the first one. Personally I'd try to keep her shadow in frame but I'd surely open up the aperture so the background would blur.

Why straighten an image just because the sidewalk says so? I say the original looks just fine. Straight and horizontal lines are boring, stable, but boring. :D

Also, I've stopped cropping/rotating my images, I sometimes allow myself to crop a few percent, becasue the viewfinder doesn't show 100%.


5D and holy trinity of primes. Now the 90mm TS-E TS-E fly bit me. I hate these forums.

It would be interesting to blur the background a little...

About cropping, I didn´t crop these images, I like them as they are complete ;)

I really like the second one. That photo needs framing and sticking up on a wall somewhere. The balance and mood just really work for me. Wish I could get my kids to sit still that long. :)

She sat that still cuz she was waiting for her Daddy to bring her a ball, so she was like "ok, I´ll sit here while I am waitting" lol
