This is an old spiral staircase, no longer in use.

Huh, I think that's the third time I've seen that posted in the last month or so... I really like the second shot - the bird really adds to it - have you tried that one in black and white? :)

You're right, Jim, there have been a few of these around lately. I discovered the tower back in August and posted a pic. Back then very few people seemed to know it and everybody asked where it is located. I guess some people found it :)

B&W? I really stink at converting but I might give it a try :) Thanks for the suggestion :)

Nice pictures from Orange county. I thought these were taken on the coast of Spain.

I remember seeing these on POTN too, but such a cool location you just wouldn't be able to resist shooting it :D

Ah, Spain.... I wish :)

Julian: I had to wait for ever for a bird to fly through the image. Hoped for a seagull but got a crow, but I guess it goes ok with the tower.
