Check out the RRS 'portrait perfect' package for flash brackets. I'm not sold on the wedding one either.
I hope you don't mind the PM, but I had a rather specific question about the B87-B you have.
I noticed in your brilliant review, that when mounted onto the side of an L-plate on your 5D, the curvature of the bracket was fairly well-centered above the lens mount.
Since I've noticed in your signature that you also have a 40D (which is what I shoot with) I wonder if you'd be able to tell me whether the 87 would be fine for that too, or whether I should be looking at the B85-B.
I've measured it out, and I'm sure an 85 would clear my lens, but as hard as I try with a ruler, I'm having issues working out if the 87 would look the same on a 40D as it does on your 5D.
Can you give me a quick yay or nay? I wouldn't bother you, except that with the postage to australia and back, their return policy is something I'd rather not use

Unfortunately the other RRS stuff I own just isn't helping me get a picture for this circular bracket, and making sure its aligned with the lens as closely as possible.
Thanks for your time, and for your great reviews.
... oh I would have another quick one if you don't mind... I have a couple of RRS screw-lock clamps which I like very much, but I noticed you've got a lever clamp. I wouldn't hesitate to put one on a tripod, but I'm curious about your opinion on whether they hold tightly enough for me to swing a 70-200 2.8 over my shoulder on a monopod, while mounted to a lever clamp.
In your experience, would I be able to do that, if feeling particularly reckless? or would I be best off sticking with the screw clamps?
Thanks ever so much.
The 5D and the 40D are nearly the same size so the flash bracket should fit perfectly. I dont have an L plate for my 40D so I cant take a picture and show you for sure, but I am very sure it will be the same as my 5D setup. As far as the screw vs lever clamp goes, I have owned both and I personally think they hold with the same secureness but the advantage that the lever clamp provides with its convenience is by far worth it. I often shoot in situations where I have to get my camera off my tripod and be mobile quickly, so the lever clamp when using my tripod is the only way for me.
Also Milorad you are set to not accept PM's, so I couldnt PM you back.
