Hi all
I have a 1Ds mk1 its only had between 2-3 thousand actuations. I have what I thought was dust on the sensor and had the sensor duly cleaned. After cleaning there still appeared to be noticable dust marks (about 12) visible on a A4 image. I have been advised that this in fact may be pixel failure. Can anyone offer advise on this possible problem and how I might resolve it.

If you show us a photo it will stop a lot of windy nonsense around whether it is pixel failure or dust... Just a crop from around one of the problem areas will do.

I am not sure of the problem. Post an image and let us see what your talking about. Also, you might want to change the name of your post to something more relevant to your question such as "1DsmkI image problems"

Take a sample picture against a solid background and post it here.
