Hey,

I have read some bag reviews but I was hoping if some of you could help me with my specific needs. I have a Canon 40D with the following lenses:
sigma 10-20 / canon 50 f1.4/ extension tube 25II and a canon 28-135, BG-E2N grip (coming soon).

I want to find a fairly cheap and durable day packback that I can take with me on trips and/or to school - gives the option to fit my 15" macbookpro.

I was looking into Dakine: Sequence (external link), but I am not sure if it will meet my needs, and I would be happy if I could find something cheaper.
Also into Lowepro: Fastpack 250 (external link), but the photos make the bag loop pretty unattractive.

Any suggestions?

Just from my experience of the Sequence, It'd be hard to fit anything other than photo gear. There isn't really space to fit a laptop that would be convenient.

I think you can fit a laptop in the Sequence, there's just no dedicated pocket for one.

I have yet to see one in person, but are the compartments (camera pads and dividers) removable? Also, it seems like the "camera bag" is a separate entity from the backpack. Meaning there is a bag inside the backpack, is this accurate? I am confused given the pics that i've seen.

Maybe I might not have to carry both at once but I would like to be able to use this bag as dual purpose. This being said, is it worth it?

Tamrac Adventure 9. I have it, it's great, will do exactly what you need.

I have the Fast Pack 250. It does look better with out all the packing material in it, as per the product photo. I find it quite good.

The Adventure 9, in comparison in store, was slightly heaver then the Fast pack (when empty), but is a pretty slick unit.

I have the fastpack 250, I'm only upgrading to get a Kata r-103 which has a bit more storage (as I've expanded my selection of lenses) and has an external tripod harness as well.
