does anyone have a pic of there studio to show how to angle the light for this? or for any portraits for that matter

with white i expose for the subject and light the backdrop seperately...might sound simple/ghetto but it works for me, for black i just expose for the subjects and it works...i donno...lol, light meters just come in handy in the studio?
