I love looking at all of the macro shots from the pro's on here of these little guys. I am not a pro ... however, this one turned out ok.

Those look a touch soft but then they are natural light at quite a wide aperture so not too bad really. Must try and ID that caterpillar - will report back.

don't think there are many macro pros in the world let alone this forum - wrong subject matter to make a living from, better off hanging around exclusive nightclubs with a tele lens!

Thanks for the replies. I couldn't open the link you provided racketman, but thanks for the ID! I always thought these were called woolly caterpillars. (thats what we called them when we were kids :) )
