I like the lens flare in 1+3, but some people won't dig it.

3 I think is the best, but its also a bit dark which again a lot of people won't dig.

In #1, you've taken the shot with the sun in a difficult position... much of the shot's lighting is low contrast, and lacking in satisfying details. I think the sunglasses could also go - they're a bit too prominent and it's frustrating while deducing what they are. Maybe some flash fill or a reflector would have helped with the subject.

#2: Seems ok, but I think you've angled the camera skywards a bit too much, creating some distortion, and a tendency for the trunks to curve inwards. Also, running through the old "foreground, midground, background interest" checklist, you might have got something in the foreground and got down a bit lower to the ground...?

#3: brilliant colour in the trees on the left! This is the stand-out feature in the shot, and I prefer a crop just above the trees, sun, and building left-of-the-sun with antenna on the right. I'd also correct some of the distortion in post-processing so the building edges are vertical. Nice one.

Cheers, Tony

Karlos- Thanks! I like the lens flare too, and I knew that some people wouldn't like it. :) I see what you are saying about #3 being too dark. I'll try and lighten it up.

Tony- Thanks so much for the critique, I will definitely be more mindful of my composition, and I will keep your comments in mind next time. :) I also tried your suggested crop for #3 and liked it much better, so thank you!

Thanks again for the C&C! It is greatly appreciated!! :) :) :) :)
