It's stock for now but I have big plans. Sorry about that pesky plant that the wind just blew into the frame as I was shooting.

Slightly edited...

I agree. I was mainly trying to get the car and the nice looking sky colors into one shot.

It's only one shot, not a HDR. I just changed some of the levels in photoshop.

Nice capture. The sky looks fabulous. I find the lamp post and other items extending out of the roofline a little distracting, and perhaps lowering the shot a little would remove these, and also reduce the bottom heavy effect that RadAL has pointed out. Great photo though, and I'm looking forward to seeing more!

i wish i could have gotten lower but i was already standing (kneeling) in my wife's flower garden. Our driveway is really steep so it's not the best platform for pictures....but the sky looked so nice. Here's the original photo:

From the looks of it, if he lowered the shot, the plant would be more in the frame. I mean unless you shoot at a different angle of course. I used to use the Shadows/Highlight command in Photoshop, too. Fun tool to use because it brings out certain details, but is a bit much in a lot of situations.

it usually adds way too much, and it did in this photo too. I had to run a strong neat image to make the grain a little more bearable.

I have another photo that the car looks better and the plant is gone but the sky (which is the main thing I wanted) is blown out

Gotcha, I'm sure this was just a quick shot anyway since it's in your driveway =)

Angeled driveways are never a good option to take pictures on. I would have backed into the street.

wouldn't have seen the sky from the street because it's 10-15 feet lower and there are houses in the way...
