At harbourview function centre and they want to stay there and have the shots there. I'm thinking on the wharf with nobbys maybe as a background.

Wharf is good... there's ample spots around there - the nice green patch east and west of it, there's the fountain outside Customs if you really want a fountain and are keen to make them walk.. have you only got the one 580? What modifiers have you got?

Just the 580 and a brolly. I'm not a big flash fan and usually find one is enough for what i want to do.

Got an assistant to hold it for you? :p Also, got any gels for the flash? You might find that helps to get rid of some of the "flashed" look compared to the ambient..
