I know there isnt much chance but ill put it out there anyway. Im simply wondering if anyone on here would be willing to lend me a camera (Any Canon DSLR) on December 5th. Got an award ceremony to shoot and i have to get up and get a prize so i want a remote set up getting full stage shots so i can get one of me (And the people who go up in my lot as i have to drop the camera about 10mins before my prize and for 10 mins after)

Would ideally prefer an XXD Series or Above but an XXXD Series would be fine.

EDIT: Would happily pay a small rental fee.

Lets try this one more time now the geek speak has settled down

Who should I use for out of warranty Lens repair ?
The auto focus on my 50mm f1.4 has decided to die.

I've used Canon direct for the repair on my 5D's mirror... they were quick and it ended up being free for an out of warranty. Don't know what'd happen with the 50 f/1.4 though.

I use HL Camera Service in the CBD on Pitt Street, they are great! Also use Dan on these forums for some repairs

Yup but i will need to shoot with 2 down on the floor, 70-200 on one and 24-70 or 300 on the other.

I still haven't been able to fix the AF on my 50/1.4 so I can't recommend myself for that job anyway!
