I like the money shot, except i'd like it to be a smidge brighter to be able to see the main focus a bit clearer.

and grats on the 35L :D lovely lens :p

OOC, how many of you guys shoot auto vs manual WB setting?
I presume most shoot @ Auto and RAW and then adjust in PP.

Auto/RAW/Adjuster here.

More often than not, auto/raw. Unless i'm using my MP-E, then it's custom.

Angus, looks good. Got a copy without the vignette though?

Also the P5000 arrived today... thanks heaps... Although i almost had a heart attack when it wouldnt power on, a battery helped that :p

Thanks for letting me know. :)

Both batteries will need a charge. One hasn't been used for a while and one is pretty much gone.

GAH!

Trying to enrol for next semester and we have to choose an elective. Of course, the one i want to do from the list they have given us clashes with everything else :(

Oh and just had an interview with the coffee place down the road. Feng, you will probably be getting a phone call over the next few days ;)

And the only other one I kind of like is all on wednesdays which so far is my one day off.

Yeah, that's what i thought the consensus was.
I have been asked to shoot JPEG at a fashion launch tonight and the concept is a bit new to me. :P
Am thinking whether to just refer to the LCD for WB tone and adjust accordingly or shoot a grey object and use that on manual.

Oh and another point.
Opportunity to possibly swap a 24-105L(used) + 1100 for a 70-200 2.8 IS(used). Fair trade?

Angus, the only reason i think vignette is in-appropriate for the last shot is due to the dramatic blue sky that you have on it. They don't gel IMO

Why do you have to shoot JPEG? I'd still be shooting RAW. Even if it's more time involved, the keeper rate is SIGNIFICANTLY higher.
