Surfin around, found a place doing Mark1 5D's for $2,218.30 in Melb. is that a good price?

For new local stock 5D classics it is.

Yeah didn't think it would be local stock. I don't even think there's any new local stock left.

DD's have 5D's instock for 2300, it's grey but has 12 months warranty with a 'proven' company (DD).

Remember those free straps that Smugmug was giving away months ago? Mine arrived in the mail today.

OT: What beers are people drinking over Xmas?
I'm thinking of getting a case of Staropramen - although a bit exy.
Anyone else have suggestions?

Currently I have a glass of possibly Cab Sav, passed to me by my mother-in-law.

If I were to be drinking beer, it'd have to be either Coopers Vintage Ale, or something from Matilda Bay (Beez Kneez or Dogbolter), or Little Creatures.

LOL, post something about alcomahol and boom it brings out the men!
Staropramen is a Czech beer. Pretty good.

Thinking i might get some Crackenback made by the Snowy Mountain Brewery.

Dave, any notable whites that one should look at? I typically go for the Clare Valley whites.

I just bought a Barossa Valley Shiraz for my step dad. Pretty damn pricey too. I hope it's nice. lol

New Zealand Sav Blancs are always good. We sell Clifford Bay, it's not half bad (if you can find it in a bottle shop ;) ).

I also work with grog, so I have a lot of "tasting" to do. :p
