It seems deep right thru from front to back - I've got a Crumpler Whickey and Cox which gets shallower towards the top of the bag and limits what you can put in, whether a flash or a lens.

Yep, uniform depth. you lose some in the bottom corners (Sigma 10-20 & MBP power), and up the middle. VERY happy with it.

cheers, juice (Canon shooter, Elinchrom lighter, but pretty much agnostic on brands.)

Thought so. :p

Queen Victoria 19-Feb-2009 06:00 (Thu) 20-Feb-2009 18:30 (Fri) Overseas Passenger Terminal CVL Cunard

Queen Mary 2 26-Feb-2009 07:00 (Thu) 26-Feb-2009 23:00 (Thu) Garden Island CVL Cunard QM2 Passenger Process. 26-Feb-2009 07:00 (Thu) 26-Feb-2009 18:00 (Thu) Wharf 8 - Darling Harbour CVL Cunard

Wait, I keep getting the ships mixed up. The duo which came around Feb 07' would have been the Queen Elizabeth II and Queen Mary 2? And the duo which came around Feb 08' were the.. Queen Victoria and Queen Mary 2? So the two ships coming in Feb 09' will be the same as the ones which came Feb 08', right? Sheesh, I'm getting a little confused here.

Sorry it took so long, Brenno.

Lowepro Rolling Computrekker Plus AW

Awesome Mic, thanks for the shot and details you put into it. Much appreciated!!

It looks like a perfect fit for what I need in a bag. I'll definately need to invest in one very soon.

May I ask Mic, how do you find the functionality?? That may sound a little silly, but what I mean is, how practical is it out on jobs?? Easy to switch from rolling to backpack style carrying?? How does it perform it's rolling duties?? How comfortable is it as a backpack??

I'll be using it mainly for weddings, but having said that, it will be my one and only bag, so I'd be interested hearing how you've found it's versatility??

Thanks and sorry for disturbing your wedding PP. ;)

Oven's looking good Justin!!

Is that rat a bit crook, or are the half closed eyes from the flash??

No probs at all.

I'm VERY happy with it. Carted it around Canberra at Christmas time.

I haven't actually used it as a backpack yet, possibly because I don't want to snap my spine :-)

I used it for a wedding a couple of weeks ago in Perth, and it was brilliant - at the church, the reception and the park for the formals.

It rolls really well. If you take it over gutters, etc, not dead straight it can tip, but that's to be expected - can't beat physics.

Yeah, very very happy.

Thanks and sorry for disturbing your wedding PP. ;)

Allowing me to escape from, you mean :-)

Bah, what's wrong with ya?? :p

I'd actually use it more so just slung over one shoulder unless I was on a major walk of some sort.

Excellent... Just what I want, some real world trials.

It rolls really well. If you take it over gutters, etc, not dead straight it can tip, but that's to be expected - can't beat physics.

True... So is the handle strong enough to correct the bag if it does start to tip?? I know with suitcases, I've corrected the tip using my wrist to twist it back to rolling right. Is it a plastic handle or metal??

Allowing me to escape from, you mean :-)

It gets a bit like that sometimes. ;)

Not if it was full, you wouldn't. (Unless you're Arnie, and even then maybe not.)

Metal handle, but not good for twisting it back to straight. It just weighs too much.

It gets a bit like that sometimes. ;)

It's such a pain, and it being for my Dad (and thus free) makes it no easier :-)

I love that quote. I wonder why there aren't any large proper day packs/hiking packs with camera sections or if there are why they're not more popular?

The addition of a waist strap does wonders for load carrying.

Pretty easy with cut & paste :-)

Mind you, nothing like as easy as on Whirlpool, which is the best forum software I've ever used.

This has a waist strap, IIRC. Still too heavy.
