This has a waist strap, IIRC. Still too heavy.

Is it well padded or....wait a second, it's ALL THE CRAP YOU PUT IN IT!

I just filled it up! You're meant to fill them up, right, or you'd have got something smaller!

Right?

:-)

cheers, juice (Canon shooter, Elinchrom lighter, but pretty much agnostic on brands.)

I can't fault that logic. :D

Some shots from said wedding. It was shot in a cave - an inside room with NO natural light whatsoever - I put a 550EX up on either side of the room about 4m back from the front, faced them forward in and up somewhat, set them on half-power, and fired them with PWs. Nightmare. Probably should have had one at the front as well, facing back, set to about 1/64 or 1/128, but didn't think of it.

The formals had the Fremantle Doctor howling in, so hair in faces was a HUGE problem, and it was BRIGHT. WA sun bright.

It's hardly a stellar shoot, but they're happy, which I guess is what counts. And my first (and possibly only :-) wedding is done.

People can buy prints off the site - any idea what I should charge for the various sizes?

Ta.

Not if it was full, you wouldn't. (Unless you're Arnie, and even then maybe not.)

Ok, cool. Well I'm no Arnie, but I'm 6'3" and 130kgs. Most of the weight (mine) is carried around the midrift though. :D

It's such a pain, and it being for my Dad (and thus free) makes it no easier :-)

Hahahaha...

Dad: "Son, where's those wedding photo's you were working on for me?"
Mic: "Getting there Dad, been busy."
Dad: "But son, it's now January 2010."
Mic: :o

Even so...

I can relate to the SHAPE, though :-)

Yep, pretty much. It was December 6, and he was hassling me by the 9th. "Well, I've got 1400 shots to go through..."

Not sure about pricing. All my prints are included in the package, plus the couple gets a disc of high res JPEG's, so print after sales just don't happen here.

LMAO at the kid on the right in 072!!

Nice set Mic.

Nice... I love Weird Al. Look up his video "White and Nerdy". Every time I see it, I LMAO. He is a genuine comedy genius IMHO.

Righty. Well, I included no prints in my low, low price of about -$6000 after gear purchases (what a great excuse that was!) and airfares :-)

It's an interesting family he's acquired :-)

Nice set Mic.

Thanks mate, appreciated. I'm no expert wedding photographer, that's for sure!

That he is. I saw him live in Perth a few years ago and he wasn't stellar (bass player looked totally stoned), but his recorded stuff is brilliant.
