It's silly really. Access to data at home should be controlled by parents. End of story. It is not the governments place, it is the parents. Then again, so many parents don't look after their kids...so I guess there is that argument.

here is an interview (external link) with a guy that works for internode I think and he explains the pros and cons of the firewall.. well the cons mainly. it goes for about 20 minutes but it's an interesting listen.
