I am thinking of adding an Alien Bee or similar strobe with a modeling light. The question I have is whether the flash temperature of the 2 types of flash will match enough to be used together in a multi flash set-up without throwing the white balance off. I would probably use the alien bee for the primary light and use the flashes as BG and hair lights, perhaps with a gel on the BG light. Thanks for any and all input! All I ever did was set the camera to flash in the WB menu and it always came out very good. I am not even sure that there is a way to set up a custom WB with an XTI...??
