More from the Woodward Dream Cruise:
Gary has sold this car. It's a '41 Chevy Coupe with a 518cid big block 8:71 BDS blown motor that puts out 750 bhp.
Transmission is turbo 400 pushing a 9" Ford 3.23 rear end.
The body is all that's left of the original car. Except for that, Gary built the entire car, including the grill.

It turns 10.2 in the quarter mile. While I was waiting, a guy with a pro TV camera asked him to start the motor & Gary volunteered to take the caps off the headers. YES! I heard at least 750 horses thundering in there! They sounded as if they were in a big hurry!

What he's driving now. I'll post it later this week.

That's Gary's current street car, coming soon.

But what a carbon footprint!

If it were mine, I'd make up for it by not burning my leaves anymore! ;)

Thanks for the comments.

What a nice car! Lots of attention to detail. I like photo #7, something about the jeweled lamps and the cool pano reflected on the paint! What a shot!

Sometimes I get lucky. I'd shot the rear earlier & he was pulling out when I grabbed that shot.

Thanks for the comment.
