the first one looks odd cause of the way the wheel is just over so slightly turned... compared to the rear wheel.

Great photos, but my eyes are drawn to the houses on either side of the car in the last one.

Thanks. I should clarify. The last one won't be used. That was just for fun :)

Lovely car & shots, but if it's for a calendar shouldn't your girlfriend be spread half naked across the bonnet? ;)

^lol

Nice Shots. I like #1 the best. Considering the location (in which I do like ;)), you where able to control the reflections on the car, where they matter. I find the slight "turn" of the wheel hardly noticeable. Looks calendar ready.

I know you shoot a lot of HDR images...I don't believe these are HDR (except the last), but sometimes I can't tell because you have such a unique HDR technique. However, what processing did you use?

First shot is great but may be cropped a bit tight. For something like a calendar where the image will be rather large I think it's OK to have a bit more space around the car. If it were a quarter or even half page shot in a magazine then tighter cropping allows more detail. The window stickers are a little distracting but hey, you have to represent the club!

Lovely car. The TR4 is such a nice, simple, elegant design. I have a TR2, a TR3 and a Sports 6. Us Triumph folks have to stick together!

Cheers,
Kurt O.

This is a situation where a CPL filter is a must have. I was able to kill most of the reflections with it. As for processing. I shot all these in HDR but in the end, due to wind, I used the under exposed shots and but everything up. That way the highlights weren't blown out. I used Photomatix to open and faux HDR these. Then I did the final touches with Adobe Camera Raw.

Very good point Kurt, thanks. I actually have several variations of that shot of deferent zooms. This one posted being the tightest crop. That way the person laying out the calendar will have a few choices.
