Okay, because us TPBM'rs tend to bend the rules in the competition thread, this thread is for us :D
This is for general chat and off TPBM topic items. Enjoy!

Edit 07/14/07: For those who may wander by, stop in and say hello :D We are a friendly, albeit odd, bunch and welcome any and all.
A little history; this thread was created to un-clutter The Photo Below Me thread (link in siggy). If you would like to meet the cast, so to speak: CLICK

Jon... so not fair. You ask me a question, then close the thread before I can quote it.

Nice smooth move though. What a ride! And in Jamie's new Corvette!

I didn't mean MY dad. I meant HER dad. And he lives pretty close by. ;)

G'mae all again ;)

Woah - what a ride! While I was busy quoting, too. We still had six posts to go when I started - then I couldn't find the breadcrumbs - thanks for coming back to leave the trail Jon ;) Hmm. Breadcrumbs are relevant to what I was quoting...

Products on this side of the pond have warnings like that, too.

And, I agree with you. Nut allergies (and wheat and many other types of allergies) are a fairly recent epidemic. Allergies like that were unheard of when I was school aged.

One cause of the wheat allergies that are more prevalent today is the supermarket bread. Often, the supermarkets don't bake the bread long enough in an attempt to reduce their costs and keep the prices down. Unfortunately, flour contains a poison which need to be cooked out of it in the baking process. By not baking properly, the supermarkets are actually causing these gluten allergies - effectively poisoning their customers

Right - better find something for the walls...

In keeping with Jamies first post...

And Lonnie, there's a cutie on tonight's Jeopardy.

I can't wait! It isn't on here for almost two hours, though...

Hey, Jon. Where's the link for #11? We didn't lose our eleventh thread. Only RRTP did.
