Course, you could stay in the parking area, have your young'n climb then burst mode it when he came tumbling down.

Heather forget to say smile? Or is she at work and your camera on timer?;)

Nice to see you and yes, you do clean up well.:D

So true, I could but I wouldn't be able to get any stunning shots.

Zane (or anyone knowledgeable in such things) - can you help me identify this? The seed head was quite large - about 2 ins long and this shot was taken mid August. I have no idea what it is ???!

Teasle thistle but Becky got that already.

looks like a thistle to me Mark, but I'm no expert.

Wow, well done city girl.

I feel a little like an undertaker in this suit.

You look like a very dignified undertaker, thanks for sharing. You look really thrilled about the whole thing too:lol:.

So OT...but, after visiting one of the games, it needs to be said...

I want another dog...there I said it...this after telling Curt that with our active lives, it is difficult leaving one behind when we travel....so I think we need a pup to teach how to travel.:D

I've never taken any special precautions with my camera at the beach...beyond not changing lenses if it was blowing.

Same. There are actually few conditions I wouldn't take a camera in. The last few trips to the asylum I had the 1Ds and 24-70 around my neck. We have to cross a shallow river and traverse some steep terrain.

Yup you do:) Jinx travels most places with us. The key is train them good enough to behave if you need to sneak them in somewhere. We took her to outback steak house and just put her on a stay under the table. Several waitresses noticed and brought us a doggy bag of t-bone steak bones. We were staying out on the beach at Assateaugue for a few days at the time. We drove back out and she proceeded to lay in the sand with her bones and eat them up sand and all. That said she rarely to never gets people scraps but it was a special occasion.

good for you Becky! You seem to understand very well how to train a dog, I bet you could have a wonderful photo companion! And what could be cuter than Curt marching in some parade with his puppy?? I'd vote for him!

woo-hoo...silly meds kicking in!

Quick pop in to show that Jenn isn't the only one who scrubs up well...

Off to cover the fancy event...

You do clean up well, a smile would eliminate the resemblance to an undertaker :)

Yep, and I did that with the Brit I had in HS. Also helps to get them as a pup. I'm also intrigued by what Jim is doing diet wise with Jasper. I want to research that, certainly makes initial sense given a dog's ancestry.

Oooo, there you go, hadn't thought of that.

Problem is, what breed? Curt has mentioned another mutt, hybrid vigor and all. There are so many breeds I'd love to have, but I'm really pulled toward a Burmese Mountain Dog. Ever since I saw an episode on Animal Planet when they were featured on Breed All About It. Since then I've seen several and our shop vac is use to heavy shedding.:D I would have to train it to cart though just to be true to the breed.

Good idea, Crissa.

Hi, Deb, feeling any better? Sounds like you and Crissa need to hunker down in nice warm blankets with a mug of soup.
