I have to venture into cooking ribs. I think my first time will be as a family cook thing with my brother. Ribs have a technique that I haven't learnt yet.
Well fly on over and join us, swing by the east and pick up Jenn too. There is plenty.
Did you get all the shiny things?
Easy, ground beef, onion, garlic cloves (1 or 2 biguns), brown together, add chilli mix in an envelope, sneek in extra chilli powder when Curt isn't looking, bottle of beer, tomato sauce, diced tomatos, tomato paste, let it all simmer for a couple of hours then add beans, we like the dark red kidney beans, but beanless works for lots of folks too, simmer some more. Serve over baked or mooshed taters, or with saltine crackers, and have some cheddar cheese handy to sprinkle in. Sliced green onions to sprinkle on is good too.
I make killer ribs.... I haven't done it in a while but I love to smoke ribs!!!!
That sounds like a yummy recipe... how much does it make?

I'm going to Traverse @ mnc for Photography lab 1, then photography 1, Digital 1, and then hiking 1.
By the way I'm 35 but I want to finally break my shell of shyness and start living life the way "I WANT TOO"
I didn't think that hiking courses existed until I went to graduate school at a mountain college.... Western Carolina University offers rock climbing to if I am not mistaken hehehehe

Yup you do Jinx travels most places with us. The key is train them good enough to behave if you need to sneak them in somewhere. We took her to outback steak house and just put her on a stay under the table. Several waitresses noticed and brought us a doggy bag of t-bone steak bones. We were staying out on the beach at Assateaugue for a few days at the time. We drove back out and she proceeded to lay in the sand with her bones and eat them up sand and all. That said she rarely to never gets people scraps but it was a special occasion.
WOW I'm impressed!!!!! It's so funny I used to work with a blind woman who had a black lab seeing eye dog. I loved Yahtzee! Sweetest dog. She wasn't the BEST trained service dog... but we all adored her.... The funniest part is that she would lay under Becky's feet during meetings.... and if the meeting went on too long, she would shift her position and groan or moan hehehehehe

good for you Becky! You seem to understand very well how to train a dog, I bet you could have a wonderful photo companion! And what could be cuter than Curt marching in some parade with his puppy?? I'd vote for him!
woo-hoo...silly meds kicking in!
Oh those silly meds can be fun!!! hehehehe

City shelters seem to have a lot more pits and pit crosses than rural shelters if you are looking for a shelter dog.
I am partial to labs and lab mixes. They are smart, light shedders, good size, athletic, long lived, and loyal loving dogs.
I too am partial to labs and lab mixes... My family has had 3 labs and my first dog was a lab/shepherd mix....
