I still can't decide, and I have no way of getting model releases for my firefighter shot so I can't submit it. I don't know who half those people are in that picture... Sucks royally because it is/was likely my only shot to make it in the book ![]() ![]() You shouldn't need a release for that picture. Becky N wrote in post #6560630 She has the advantage of you and your work. Lucky dog, pun intended. Don't think my company or the Treasurer's office would favor us bringing a dog to the offices. I took Ashley to work with me several times. That's one nice thing about working an odd shift. There's nobody around to complain about a dog being there. mtnphtgrphr wrote in post #6560696 Never had pastrami....
3Turner wrote in post #6560867 Now how do you know that she will be taking Pete's last name? What if Pete is taking hers instead? ![]() Just a guess. I do know someone who took his wife's name when they got married, though. It was a major hassle for him to get his name officially changed on legal documents. All of the procedures are set up for the woman to do so, and when he showed up at the court/hall of records, nobody knew what to do. My name is Lonnie, but I answer to Thomas too.

I assumed I'd need one... Nope. For a "news" type event like that a release is not necessary. Also, you only need it when the people are recognizable in the photo, and if I remember correctly, they are all looking away from the camera in your shot.
