Couple years ago, Curt and I were camping in the late fall. He actually said next time he was going to opt for a site with electical and bring an electric blanket. I'd be too embarrassed to be in a tent with a cord to the electrical post, I would however have no problem getting a motorhome.:D

Thanks WoolyDan, copied, pasted, printed, and saved.

That would SO BE ME!!!!!!!I Electric blanket while camping.... hehehehe

But of course :)

Cute pom :D

Thanks!

It really isn't as shocking as it seems....it is almost impossible to find pastrami here...not a real staple of southern cuisine.

I've never had it.... never looked for it either.... Sounds too much like salami *shiver*

thomascanty wrote in post #6561255 (external link)
Nope. For a "news" type event like that a release is not necessary. Also, you only need it when the people are recognizable in the photo, and if I remember correctly, they are all looking away from the camera in your shot.

Yes they are all facing away from the camera....

Clams? Now, there's something that never appealed to me.

Really, odd, you are only a few hours inland right? I used to get good clams on the coast down there. Growing up we used to go clamming down there.

Last weekend in the homestead and the cupboards are bare-ish. Interesting what one discovers when the munchies strike; graham cracker+cream cheese+strawberry jelly= a weird kinda cheesecakey snack

Last weekend, already? Are you going to miss it? And your dessert sounds WONDERFUL!

I don't think I have posted this before but if I have put it down to old age and forgive me.

I don't normally like jugglers but if this guy (external link) is for real (and I think he is) then WOW. It's worth watching it to the end.....

I recently purchased an audio-book format Spanish language tutorial. I thought it might be a good idea if I was able to speak to my neighbors in their native tongue for a change...

I learned kitchen Spanish while working at the Mexican restaurant with only spanish speaking staff. But I wish I knew more. I would love to be fluently bilingual.

I'm hoping that cats are soon added to the list there. ;)

So OT...but, after visiting one of the games, it needs to be said...

I want another dog...there I said it...this after telling Curt that with our active lives, it is difficult leaving one behind when we travel....so I think we need a pup to teach how to travel.

YAY!!! And I LOVE Burmese mountain dogs!

I don't know why...but I just had the thought that you should have a shot with the shoes on the bottom of the belly so that it looks like Mrs. Potato Head .Of course with a face painted on the belly too.

We actually did one of those! LOL! With the same Mrs Potato head thought. LOL.

Yes they are, but according to the other person that lives in the house and shall remain nameless for this conversation, anything under 40 pounds isn't really a dog. Please don't hold that against him, we all have out faults.

LOL! Wade has said the SAME thing. He doesn't want anything small enough to 'punt'.

Becky N wrote in post #6560659 (external link)
Cat like story...Curt has been sleeping since we got home, 4ish...he just woke up and told me..."We're getting rid of the pet crow because he is tired of the mess it makes in the house and how it perches on the ceiling fan."...and I thought I had some weird dreams.

ROFLOL!!!

Woolburr wrote in post #6560674 (external link)
Hey....did anyone else try take chocolate cake in a cup recipe? I made one the other night...used Kahlua as a substitute liquid....cooked it up...popped it out and dusted it with some powdered sugar....very tasty.

OH YUM!

I switched to my Hootie and the Blowfish channel. Roll to Me by Del Amitri came up. Love the song, never knew the name of the band. Pandora rocks!

I LOVE Hootie. Did you know that Darius Rucker went COUNTRY!?! Yeah. Without his blowfish. Sacrilege I say.

There is very little fresh seafood to be found here....we had one place for a while...but they lost their lease and never found a suitable replacement home.
