To add texture to the flavor of breading and grease.

I thought maybe it was to make a blow-out patch for your old sneakers! I love clams...but frying them turns them into rubber.

Just got home not too long ago from a couple days with the fam.

EVERYONE was there for Tricia's baby shower. It was quite hectic, but nice when the guys took all the kids, and us ladies had a night 'out'. ;)

I'm glad to be home... though I have a ton of things to do before tomorrow, I'd rather be here, so it can wait. ;)

BOBBY!! Hope you and the fam had fun, and we expect pictures. Lots of them.

We did have fun and there will be.
One thing I did notice was I really didn't take any photos of John, Lonnie and Heather 'in action' :( I do have a couple of Heather on a roller coaster.....and of course the group shot. I am still kicking myself for not taking more photos of them.

cfpackerfan wrote in post #6561337 (external link)
We actually did one of those! LOL! With the same Mrs Potato head thought. LOL.

Do we get to see it? :D

Why on earth would your fry a clam?

Gak! Why on earth would you ingest a clam not matter the prep method?

((((Terri)))) sorry you had to do that. Sucks.

Thank you Cat. It easily rated as one of the worst days of my life.

Last weekend, already? Are you going to miss it? And your dessert sounds WONDERFUL!

Well, there will be a couple of back an forths yet, but we will be fairly moved out this weekend. And the dessert ROCKED :)

LOL! That's what they ALL say!

:p

I'm hoping that cats are soon added to the list there. ;)

I have no doubt ;)

I LOVE Hootie. Did you know that Darius Rucker went COUNTRY!?! Yeah. Without his blowfish. Sacrilege I say.

Bring on the steamers!

Don't think I've ever had steamed clams. Fried, chowdered, etc, but ... wait.... I think I have. When Marian and I went to Vegas for her birthday, I ordered a clam pasta dish, and the clams came still in the shell, but opened and YUMMY. I bet they were steamed.

I TOTALLY know what you mean. I ended up with about a dozen pics of when Jim and Lisa were here. Funny, that as photographers we put away the cameras when we're having fun, eh?

3Turner wrote in post #6561408 (external link)

Nope. We were laughing so hard that all the photos suck. Like... beyond savable, suck.
