Evening all. Not caught up yet.

Spent the day at the beach today. I was holding a baby in one arm and photographing with the other

We've really enjoyed this time together.

The ocean was amazing today. The waves were higher than the huge cliffs and it was an incredible sight. We did get photos.

The sad part was that we ended up photographing a coast guard rescue (semi-rescue) (It's weird being higher than a helicopter in rescue.) A couple fell (or was washed) off the cliff (we only got sketchy details from a hurried officer). They found the man but we have no idea if he survived. When we finally left, they hadn't found the woman.

Anyway, I just wanted to check in and say hello.

Bring on the steamers!

Or just have them still squiggling on the half shell. Okay they don't squiggle but they almost squirm when you hit them with the lemon.

Talk about a day of emotions, eh?

I'm so glad that you have had this time to spend with Tiff, Brian and Jonathan. I can't wait to see the pics that you've taken. I get warm fuzzies just thinking about it.

So sad about the rescue. :(

Jeez. That went completely over my head, too. I blame cleaning product fumes.

Quick....how many fingers is Cat holding up??

cfpackerfan wrote in post #6561434 (external link)
I TOTALLY know what you mean. I ended up with about a dozen pics of when Jim and Lisa were here. Funny, that as photographers we put away the cameras when we're having fun, eh?

Well....it was a mix of that, neice and nephew being a bit intolerable for some time, talking a whole bunch with John, Heather and Lonnie (when we were able to talk) and then having a personal tour guide(s) at the San Deigo Zoo learning some cool stuff that you couldn't know your self. I HIGHLY recommend the personal tour guide(s) at the San Diego Zoo ;). Oh, did I mention that Evan was being a pain in the rear also at the zoo until Heather was able to take us to the right souviner shop?

cfpackerfan wrote in post #6561434 (external link)
Nope. We were laughing so hard that all the photos suck. Like... beyond savable, suck.

Re-shoot!

I can even see Harrison Ford saying it. One of my favorite lines.

I like that one and when he asks..."Who's scruffy lookin'?"

That's sad to hear about. :( Hope the husband and wife survived.

I have *so* done that!

Glad you had a good day with your family, I love it when the waves are big.

Very sad about the couple :(
