If I don't shoot some foliage today I don't think there will be any left!! It has been windy here, quite gusty and bad for picture taking.

We had lots of color yesterday, but it was rainy, so I didn't bother bringing out the camera. This morning on the way to work, of course, I noticed that about 50% of the leaves vacated their Summertime abodes and were coating the streets. Now all the trees look like they have mange. Geez, that must be embarrassing for them.

We have been following the election with great interest over here ( as we should in the 51st State) and other than the selection of Sarah Palin it has really lacked humour. We British can't understand anything unless we can laugh at it.

The US has a bit of a reputation for not doing irony well, I think that is unfounded because when they do do irony they do it extremely well and at last I have found something that makes me laugh at this election (and to be honest also makes me cry as it applies to politics universally)

YES!!! I love cold. I know I missed alot of good country, those were just the two states that came to mind first! I was born in Minnesota in February, maybe thats where I get my fondness for the cold.

The wedding last night was overrated. Nothing overly fancy and the dress certainly didn't look like $9000. The food was pretty good though.
