Uh oh...

 no really...all is well on the campaign front. ..what's a memo? just a suggestion. Doesn't mean that the candidates will endorse it. Or sign off on it...

Well, today got off to a blazing start this morning. I turned on my desktop computer and it booted up fine. After reading my mail and doing a couple of other things, I decided to uninstall something I downloaded the other day when my keyboard was acting up. Right after I clicked on it, I got some kind of hardware error and the computer went into a boot cycle. This has happened in the past but the computer always rebooted fine. This time it didn't. It gets to the blue screen that says "Windows XP" and just stops. It won't go any further. I hope the HD isn't gone...

I'm sure glad my photos are all on the external HD, but there are some things on the internal drive that I'd like to keep.

I'm so glad I'm not female. A couple bucks for a good disposable razor and I'm good for a month or two... I haven't been to a hairdresser since the late 1980's. They were called barbers back then.

That works for me too.

Cool looking cat shot..... in fact the series is a good endorsement for the nifty fifty.

This was just released to CNN, MSNBC, FOX, CBS, NBC, ABC, BBC, Rueters, API, Sesame Street and Bob. We're working on finding the anonymous leak and also trying to recover the photos that were with the memo that depicted suggested therapy.

Mooooo Dan........ re overuse of the !!! ......... I agree completely with someone........ either way this one turns out, I'll be okay with it........... I hardly ever use ! anyway............... you know?:D

Bummer, I hope it's something minor.

I guess that is a Southern or Alabama thing. If the weather man says it is going to snow, everyone rushes to the grocery to get milk and bread. I think it is stupid but people do it.

I would too, if I was out, no way would I be on the road with all of you and snow. You all don't have clue how to drive in the white stuff...well most of you anyway.

And guess what!! I've just make my biggest non-wedding photo sale. 18 8x10 shots of my shots from the CG shoot were purchased today. AND Dan's made his first sale ever (non-wedding) because 2 of his were purchased as well!! We didn't make much at all because the price list on these is very low so that it's no hardship for the families to buy if they want....but VERY COOL HUH?

Whoa, yes that is very cool...and great marketing for future endevors, I might add.

This is gorgeous, love the blue of the water.

I'm back, what a fun shoot, I could have spent a couple more hours with these two girls, they were fun, smiled naturally at the drop of a hat, and most enjoyable. They've been best friends forever and the colors were still good for backgrounds.

I had this computer built by a local company, so I might haul it back to them to see if they can bring it back to life.

Sometime I just hate computers... Why is it we can manufacture an automobile that will run flawlessly for years and a computer will crap in short order?

If we drove our cars as fast as we crank out pages in here, they'd crap out in short order too.;)

Seriously, I hope you get these woes handled quickly. I hate down time.

I'm not expert, but the heat the laptop gives out and the intricacy of the technology, I'm surprised at times how long a computer can run/limp along.

A couple more from Friday....Just a question, do you fix the skin in ALL of your proofs? She has pretty rough skin and I think fixing it in 30 pictures is going to to be really time consuming.

Tiff, I like the lomo action. I'm just an amateur, but I've got an opinion like everybody else here. For what it's worth, I wouldn't worry much about eliminating "imperfections" in portraits. I'd focus more on bringing out the client's personality and trying to capture that in my photos. I like the idea of photos that reveal rather than conceal, but I don't know if that would bring me any paying clients....:lol:
