no really...all is well on the campaign front. ..what's a memo? just a suggestion. Doesn't mean that the candidates will endorse it. Or sign off on it...

JWright Planes, trains and ham radio... 18,399 posts Likes: 35 Joined Dec 2004 More info | Well, today got off to a blazing start this morning. I turned on my desktop computer and it booted up fine. After reading my mail and doing a couple of other things, I decided to uninstall something I downloaded the other day when my keyboard was acting up. Right after I clicked on it, I got some kind of hardware error and the computer went into a boot cycle. This has happened in the past but the computer always rebooted fine. This time it didn't. It gets to the blue screen that says "Windows XP" and just stops. It won't go any further. I hope the HD isn't gone... John

I'm sure glad my photos are all on the external HD, but there are some things on the internal drive that I'd like to keep. Bummer, I hope it's something minor.

I think it is stupid but people do it. I would too, if I was out, no way would I be on the road with all of you and snow. You all don't have clue how to drive in the white stuff...well most of you anyway. webcrawlur wrote in post #6606732 Me, stupid time change... Gillette MarkIV Permagrin wrote in post #6608997 And guess what!! I've just make my biggest non-wedding photo sale. 18 8x10 shots of my shots from the CG shoot were purchased today. AND Dan's made his first sale ever (non-wedding) because 2 of his were purchased as well!! We didn't make much at all because the price list on these is very low so that it's no hardship for the families to buy if they want....but VERY COOL HUH? Whoa, yes that is very cool...and great marketing for future endevors, I might add. T.D. wrote in post #6609561 I pay 10 bucks plus a 5 dollar tip at Great Clips. Cool, one of our chain accounts. She has pretty rough skin and I think fixing it in 30 pictures is going to to be really time consuming.
And with a lomo action

I'm just an amateur, but I've got an opinion like everybody else here. For what it's worth, I wouldn't worry much about eliminating "imperfections" in portraits. I'd focus more on bringing out the client's personality and trying to capture that in my photos. I like the idea of photos that reveal rather than conceal, but I don't know if that would bring me any paying clients....
