BearLeeAlive wrote in post #6521100 Lisa took these shots of me while out on the rides. I had a pass, and did the rides several times. The first is the one that tries to dump you off the edge. And this is the one where you are spinning upside down face the ground a long ways below. ![]() Because we were moving so fast, Lisa did not get any in good focus, the camera was set too slow for her. And, here is a shot from the bottom showing the teetering ride that dumps you off the edge. Lisa went with me on the one that shoots you up and drops you straight back down again, that was was a real rush because it made some unexpected manouvers. You'd never get me on those. No. Way. No. How! Jon wrote in post #6522560 Probably go great with gingerbread mix . . . Nice head shots, Becky; Medieval Rant, Crissa; calfling composite, Lisa. Neat summary, Jon - thanks. neil_r wrote in post #6523901 T and I are sitting watching a TV programme in which Stephen Fry a UK writer and comic is traveling through America. He has just spent Thanksgiving with a family on a plantation in Georgia, they showed the family preparing the Thanksgiving Turkey by deep frying the entire bird.... tell me that isn't so. ![]() How long per lb do you deep fry a turkey for? I think that... Miniflash wrote in post #6523967 Neil our very own Jim ..is a pro turkey fryer ...Yup - there you go. Woolburr wrote in post #6524108 Undercooked is definitely yukko....but if you follow the simple cooking directions...it should never end up that way. The oil needs to be kept at 350F and you need to do exactly 3 minutes per pound....do that and you won't have a problem. Undercooked turkey is a big problem! It's a big cause of food poisoning in the UK - we even have adverts about making sure it is properly cooked in the approach to Christmas - can't find them on YouTube at present though Mark
