Very colorful, but I don't get a whole lot of feeling of HDR on the second image (the other image isn't showing up).

I think I would have cloned out the trash bags on the roadside.

I like the second one, well done on the composition! It certainly looks better with the bag cloned out.

I don't think there's a big enough difference in dynamic range to be able to exploit HDR in these scenes. I'm certainly no expert, having only attempted HDR myself in the last couple of years, but I believe it's better suited to scenes with high contrast areas in order to bring out detail where it would otherwise be lost in shadow.

Yeh, I "HDR'd" it because it was actually extremely difficult to get everything you see in proper exposure.. I'm going into boston tomorrow all day I'll get some good shots to post :)

I took the one where the you cloned out the trash bag and then I gave it a little sharpening and a color boost. Hows that look
