Here are two of me and my family. We are at Disney World this week. My son did not bring his A590 IS so it has been difficult getting family pictures. I am not about to hand over my 30D to just anyone. Fortunately the park photogs are willing to take shots with peoples personal cameras. They all shoot Nikons, but at least they know what a DSLR is and how it works. Plus they are not very likely to do a grab and run on me. They get a little confused with the back button focus, but once I quickly explain, they are good to go.

And this one was taken in front of a backdrop of NYC at Hollywood Studio. I wish I had remembered to turn on the flash before I handed it to the photog for some fill, but it still turned out pretty good.
