ghosting question

i photographed this river a few weeks ago after reading about hdr, it was from a single raw image run through the trial photomatix program, apart from getting my shaddow in the pic i liked it, i like the ghosting of the tower in the background, only the tower to the right is real, i now own the full program but when i use the same raw image only one tower appears, is it over proccesing that causes the ghosting?

maybe the program burped as you should NOT get any ghosting in a one raw tone mapped image. I dont know what happened... but it does look like two different images were used.

You say it is from a single raw, so it's probably not from multiple images.

I have found that photomatix periodically does this, even on single raw's. Apparently it confuses itself when analyzing certain images. Try processing the same single RAW with the Align Images option turned off. Also play around with the ghosting option if that doesn't work.
