I took this from a boat heading toward the bridge. It was so pretty, I just kept shooting. This was my favorite.

Here is the newer version that seems to look better.

Can someone please tell me how to attach the files where they still look good? I open it in PS, and change teh size to 4x6 and it is still too large. I tried changing the size of the file when I did save as and the picture looks awful. Help, please.

Did you try your save for web option? I am not sure what you know or where you are but in Image>Image Size make your long side 800 pixels/inch, check you resolution here as well . . . what is it btw? 72 to 100 here make for ok web postings. Then use the save for web under file and let ImageReady shrink the file size to under 100K. They will never look as good as you see them, but they will be as good as those here. Everyone has the same basic posting guidelines. Take a look and play with these settings, then try your hand again and see what you get. If this don't help, just give a holler and someone will pitch in to help.

Gosh . . . I forgot to tell you how much I like your photo! Don't use the 4x6 section use the upper box and change it to 800 x whatever it is . . . that should fix you up.

Thanks for the help and for saying you like the photo. I am going to try to repost it here to see if it helps.

BTW, I'm in Texas, but love visiting WY. We never get to stay there long enough.

On the Mississippi outside of Vicksburg. We had toured the battle grounds and were taking a sunset cruise on the "Sweet Olive" river boat. It was a perfect evening for a sunset cruise.

Its a great shot but too bad it isn't better quality. The quality looks very bad on it.

Other than that, great capture.

P.S. How many megapixles does that camera have?

It is the way it is posted, the quality really is fine. It was shot with the digital rebel with it on the highest jpeg setting. Did you look at the post where I reposted it?

Very nice shot! Excellent exposure for the light conditions!
