From a couple of weeks ago.

Here are the first 8 (not necessarily the best).

The rest are over here:

Always happy to hear people's thoughts on my work. Hit me!

Cheers.

I think the color is great! My only thing is that #1 is a bit too distorted for my taste. Other than that, keep it up... you're obviously talented :)

Thanks mate. I agree on #1 :( Sadly the weather and the size of the verandah precluded using a longer lens.

The guys behind do look like cardboard cut-outs don't they :D

I think you did well, my personal opinion on #3 would be to whiten eyes and sharpen, then smooth the skin a little... just a tad

Thanks blondine :)

My rule of thumb is "if it can't be done in Lightroom, it can't be done" -- so that rules out the skin smoothing. That's just a taste thing tho. Plus, I'm not good at skin smoothing anyway!!

And I hear ya on the eye sockets. Stupid me left the reflector in the car. Grrr.

Do you have LR2 - does great skin smoothing/softening with local adjustment brush.

Hey Luke, great shots. I love how clear the eyes are! But I have to agree, LR or portraiture for the skin!

Haven't installed it yet. But I don't intend to use the skin smoothing feature anyway, unless the bride requests it. I don't like messing with reality.
