Tried my hand at panning, what do you think?

It was tough. The lighting was rather bad and the cars were rather slow (which might have been a good thing). So let me have it. Could I make a living at this?

They are pretty COOL images ( the ICE helps),fairly sharp too but don't give up your day job until you get more practice.Panning is difficult to get consistent results all the time!

Thanks Frank. I was surprised to see the sliding myself. I thought for sure they would have studs on the tires. Although at times you could see spots where the ice would "stick" to the tires so maybe just the one car didn't have them.

Thanks. The cars are smaller than normal cars. For instance there was a "miniature" Porsche that was maybe 2/3-1/2 scale.

So are the vehicles real or are they mock ups? I have never been to Disney on Ice, or anything else except hockey games, that are on ice.

lol..nice shots!! I'm going to Disney On Ice this November!! I already have tickets ;)..Oh and I have a son so I won't be going alone haha!! :)..I'm sure the lighting at the stadium here might be different, but how do you think a 55-250mm would do?
