Hi I've submitted mine
one question tho my entry for the nature section is a black and white shot does it matter ? should I resubmit the shot for the B/W section ?

Some images will be compatible with more than one share. A black and white landscape may be entered into either the Nature/Landscapes share, or the Black & White share.
So the one you submitted will be fine where it is.

Got mine in for the year.
Since there is no date limit, I submitted my second choice for travel from last year.
Some categories are tough to chose from, but others I only have one or two good shots.

Damn..that whole join date thing is killing me....oh well there's always Vol 4

Last year I was requested by the manager of a local theatre to take some pictures during a series of concerts. Unfortunately I was not smart enough to ask the performers for a release. So, would it be "legal" to submit one of those pictures for the book (maybe a group one)?

Do you have the rights from the theatre to publish the image?

I think that the president of my photoclub has some written agreement with the manager of the theatre (there were six of us shooting the events), but it would be complicated to retrieve it. Never mind, I'll be more careful next time.

a little confused here. is the submission ends Sunday night/Monday morning or Monday night/Tuesday morning?

Okay, I want to add an image of a 10th scale RC car. Does it go in MOTORSPORTS (because it actually has a motor not an engine) or does it o in TRANSPORTATION even though I could maybe only transport a small hamster? Hmmmmmmmmmmm .......

RC stuff usually goes to Trans so put it there.

Since last year I've always wanted to ask and I've always forgotten: why 2574? What's so special about that number?

That is the size of the signature shot. So for logistical reason we ask that everyone submit that size. We then resize the images that will be printed smaller.
