Making a photo signature

Ok well I'm not sure if that what it is called... I want to put my name on some of my photos... like a copy right or watermark kind of thing...I need to know how to make one or what I would need to do...

Please help...

It's called a "watermark" and how you do it depends primarily on what image editing programs you have available to you. What do you use for your image editing?

There are several ways to do it, and you can make an action for it as well, so that it's easy to apply to batches of images. The simple way is to make use the text tool to create a new layer using the color, font, and other attributes you want for your watermark, then set the layer transparency to achieve the desired effect. Scott Kelby's books have lots of tips for doing this.

Here is a website that helps you create a new and unique signature. You can save the end product to your computer and then add it in with photoshop or the like.
