Hello everyone! I am fairly new to this world of photography, but I sure am learning fast. I have been interested for years but was limited by my poor quality digital P&S (Erm.. PoS?) and my too expensive to use Minolta 35mm SLR. I finally broke down June of 2007 and bought my first DSLR and a couple of lenses. I was hooked!
I am now beginning to take my photography more seriously, and after landing a part time job shooting promo photos for musical groups and CD covers, I am starting to think of ways to turn this hobby into a profession someday down the road. I have a long way to go, but I have enjoyed the journey thus far.
As of this past summer, I live in the beautiful state of Maine. For fun, I mostly photograph nature, wildlife, landscapes, water and boats, and horses. I use my Canon Digital Rebel XT with an 18-55 and a 75-300 lens.
Here are just a few of my shots - critique away! I'd love some opinions and advice.
The first two are older shots from my more novice days of photography. Hopefully I have improved since then
Also, I apologize for the watermark in the first, the site I uploaded it to did that and now I don't know where on my computer the original is.
