As I understand it, the support for the 50D in the LR 2.1 release is the same as what is in ACR 4.6 beta. This reportedly didn't work so well with high-ISO images from the 50D. Now that 4.6 had been released with official 50D support, should we expect any upgrade to LR 2.1 to provide the latest support for the 50D (and several other cameras as well)?

Whadayathink?

I really don't want to pull the trigger on the 50D until LR officially supports it.

I'd say that's a safe bet. When it might happen is another issue altogether....

Rumors in various forums claim its release won't be that far off.

"I really don't want to pull the trigger on the 50D until LR officially supports it."

That's probably a wise choice too since Canon is supposedly releasing a new firmware update soon.

Toney - I just noticed the 'no body' in your sig. Waiting for a new one to come out?

Yeah I received a new 50D but it was returned due to an Err 01 that wouldn't clear up. I am now waiting until they release this currently rumored firmware 1.0.3 before giving chance to another one.
