This is grand atrium of the Canival cruise ship "Ecstasy," taken with a 72nm infrared filter. I'd never before tried shooting IR indoors, but with the expansive skylight above, I thought I'd give it a shot. The false-color sepia tone images that resulted were, I think, striking and carried a lot more gravity than the visible-light images I took (see image 1 for a garish example). I was particularly struck by the "cathedralesque" vibe of the final image here. Thoughts and comments are always welcome.
