I don't think the exposure could have been that long since the surroundings are still pretty dark. He may have used a bright flourescent light and painted the car directing the light rather than flashed the light in different places for one shot.

Very nice. I really like the light on number 4. I'll need to look into the whole painting a car with light thing - great results.

Thanks for the comments guys.

I used a LED workshop lamp in a softbox.
The location is pretty darn dark. 54s exposure, f/11, ISO800 for #4.

Dean, quality is shocking because of JPEGging, trying to keep images under 100K is hard :(
