I picked up an assignment from a news organization that wanted me to photograph a unique haunted house. This is a Christian based organization that put together a haunted house which depicts different rooms/areas that are reality for teens. This photo was of a girl involved in a drunk driving accident.
Sorry for putting my name on the photo but the news organization is going to use this as a cover photo. I submitted 10 photos to them - this one is the top and they others will be sorted by the editors.
I forgot how hard it was shooting in the dark! I shot with my 5D and 35L -- fantastic combo. I did not use a flash-- did not want to take away from the atmosphere and had to look for spots to shoot where the lighting would be on my side.
